Biography
Dr. Asier Salicio is currently Team Leader of Multifunctional Coatings at CIDETEC Surface Engineering.  Dr. Salicio holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) since 2020. He has worked on several national and European research projects related to the surface modification of different materials for different applications, including those related to the aeronautical sector. Dr. Salicio has made several communications to international conferences, published 9 research articles on surface engineering and he is the author of 2 European patent applications on electroless nickel coatings permeable to different types of electromagnetic waves. As well as, he has been the coordinator of the Clean Sky Project H2Free, in the framework of which the research presented here has been carried out.
