Biography
José Coelho has recently been appointed Chief Executive Officer of SOCOMORE, an innovative company specialising in treatment solutions, surface preparation, and coatings for the aerospace industry and other demanding industrial sectors.
With over 25 years' experience in speciality chemicals with major industrial groups such as Arkema and Henkel, he joined SOCOMORE in 2019 as Business Director for Europe and the Middle East. His past experience in Europe and abroad has supported the development of the SOCOMORE Group, making it a strategic supplier to major aerospace customers.
Born in France, José Coelho quickly showed an interest in the speciality chemicals market, joining the Total Group's chemicals branch. He has held a number of management positions in France and abroad. His experience in managing operational activities, supplemented by an MBA, enabled him to acquire a solid technical base and business management skills.
Under his leadership, SOCOMORE's EMEA operations have grown significantly, broadening its product portfolio and expanding its presence in international markets while supporting a more environmentally friendly development approach, as well as the ability to anticipate market needs with new technologies and sustainable practices in the company's manufacturing processes.
José Coelho continues to guide SOCOMORE towards new horizons, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
