Biography
With over fifty years of experience in Aerospace focused non-metallic materials development and qualification, Ron began his career as a Chemist, transitioning to Material and Process Engineering positions with two major Aerospace defense OEMs and then later to Commercial roles with major Engineered Material suppliers. Ron has held engineering positions with General Dynamics, Northrop and commercial positions with Cytec, Morton, Courtaulds and AkzoNobel, where he has spent his first nineteen years as the Key Account Manager for Akzo’s largest North American OEM, helping to oversee the development and qualification of various coating products, including the recently launched line of co-curable polyurethane surfacing films for composite parts.
