Biography
Dr Benoit Berton is a senior expert on functionalized materials at the Technical Directorate of Dassault Aviation. After his engineering diploma, Benoit Berton graduates to a PhD (1990) on high temperature behavior of ceramic composites for space vehicles (European HERMES shuttle). He has then joined Dassault Aviation to first work as a material specialist on ESA, CNES and DGA Space and hypersonic projects. Since 1999, he has been in charge of development studies on multifunctional materials and composites (microwave and infrared, acoustic, aerodynamic coatings, nanomaterials…). He has also been responsible of qualification and support activities of this type of materials for military aircraft (Rafale, Neuron) and business jets (Falcon).
